Sébastien Schemmel

Sébastien Schemmel ( born June 2, 1975 in Nancy ) is a French former footballer. Most recently, he played for AC Le Havre.

Career

Sébastien Schemmel began his career at AS Nancy. After he was able to establish a regular place there, he moved to rivals FC Metz. After two years in Metz Schemmel took the plunge and moved abroad for a six-figure transfer fee at that English Premier League club West Ham United. In 2003, he got off with the club from the Premier League. Schemmel Then moved to Portsmouth FC, who then ascended before in the Premier League. In January 2005, Schemmel returned back to his native France and hired the second division club Le Havre AC. After only half a year Schemmel ended his active career.
