Secretary (club)

The Secretary ( in Switzerland: Actuary) is the person who draws up at a meeting, a conference or a meeting ( as an association ) the protocol ( "leads" ). It is either elected for a period of time or specified for only one session. Often, the Secretary is also responsible for maintaining the list of speakers. Depending on the statutes ( articles of association or rules ) may also be responsible for the correspondence with other departments or with outsiders a secretary.

In the German Bundestag Secretary are responsible for the support of the President of the Bundestag. Your job is to accept applications and to speak, to read documents and lists of names on votes to lead the list of speakers, determine voting results and to verify the correctness of the plenary proceedings.

Especially in the Evangelical Church in Bremen are Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Office designations for senior pastors and church spokesman line. The Office is similar to a bishop, Bishop State, President of the country or superintendents of other Protestant state churches.
