Sef Imkamp

Mary Jacobus Joseph Anthony " Sef " Imkamp ( born March 10, 1925 in Beek, Limburg Province; † July 2, 2013 in The Hague, South Holland province ) was a Dutch jurist and politician of the Democraten 66, among other things, almost ten years as a member of the second Chamber of the States General was.

Life

Imkamp began after visiting a school to study law at the Katholieke Universiteit Nijmegen (KUN ), which he graduated cum laude on July 4, 1952. During his subsequent work in a notary's office he closed on October 24 1958 his doctorate in law. at the KUN with a dissertation on Prijsdiscriminatie in America en in het from ECSC verdrag. Among his fellow students was one of the later Foreign and Defence Hans van Mierlo.

He then worked as a notary candidate in The Hague, but then switched in 1959 as a civil servant to the European Atomic Energy Community (EURATOM ) for which he worked until 1963. After that, he was 1963-1965 official in the Department of International Payments of Finance ( Ministerie van for Finance ) before he July 1965 to February 1967 as a senior official in the Department of Public Health of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Public Health ( Ministerie van Sociale Zaken Volksgezondheid s ) worked.

On February 23, 1967 Imkamp was chosen as the candidate of the democrats 66 as a member of the Second Chamber of the States General and the Parliament belonged to until 7 December 1972. On 28 May 1973 he was again a member of the Second Chamber of the States General and represented the interests of his party now until June 8, 1977.
