Segner (crater)

Segner is an impact crater in the southern lunar front side, just to the northeast of the crater Zucchius, overlies the southwestern edge of Segner and its ejecta cover the otherwise largely flat bottom of Segner. The rim is heavily eroded.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the German physicist and mathematician Johann Andreas Segner of.
