Sekisui House

Sekisui House K. K. (Japanese積水ハウス 株式会社Sekisui hausu kabushiki - gaisha, Eng. Sekisui House, Ltd.. ) is a Japanese company with headquarters in Osaka.

The company is engaged in construction. Sekisui House was founded on 1 August 1960. Company president is Toshinori Abe (as of 2008). The company employs around 16,700 people (as of 1 April 2008).

Sekisui Heim M1

With the development of " Sekisui Heim M1 " together with the architect Katsuhiko Ohno early 1970s, the prototype of a system based on highly prefabricated room modules dwelling produced in industrial production, the company gained worldwide attention. 1971 produced about 260 houses in the first prototypes. Sekisui House in Europe and Germany
