Seleucus (crater)

Seleucus is an impact crater on the moon northwestern front in the plane of Oceanus Procellarum, just south of Briggs and east of the Great Barrier level of Eddington. The interior has pronounced terracing.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Greek astronomer Seleucus of Seleucia.
