Seleucus V was King of the Seleucid Empire 126-125 BC He was the elder son of Demetrius II and Cleopatra Thea.

After Demetrius II was murdered at the instigation of his wife Cleopatra Thea (126 BC), this itself took over the government and let her oldest living son Seleucus V. soon eliminate.
