Sellas Tetteh

Sellas Tetteh Teivi ( born December 12, 1956 in Adabraka ) is a Ghanaian football coach.

Career

His coaching career began in Tetteh Ghana's first division at Liberty Professionals. In the period between 2006 and 2008 he was assistant coach of the national team of his native country Ghana. Under Ratomir Dujković he took part as assistant coach at the Football World Cup 2006 in Germany and moved with the team one last sixteen. In the match against Brazil Tetteh was even temporarily as a coach on the outside line, since Dujković had been referred to the whistle. Also, along with Dujković successor Claude Le Roy Tetteh celebrated a success: The African Cup of 2008 in the home country, the Ghanaian national team reached the 3rd place. Since 2007, Tetteh trains the Ghanaian U-17 national team, with whom he participated in the U -17 World Cup 2007 in South Korea and lost in 3rd place match with 1-2 against the German selection. In addition, he has been training since 2008, the Ghanaian U-20 national team. With this team he celebrated at the Junior World Cup 2009 Egypt the biggest success of his career: On October 16, he came to Cairo Brazil 4-3 on penalties and celebrated the first title of an African team at U-20 world Cup and thus also his first world title.
