Selliner See (Rügen)

The Lake Sellin is located southeast of the eponymous town of Sellin, on the island of Rügen in Mecklenburg- Vorpommern ( Germany ). The lagoon -like bay has over the Baaber Bek connect to Having, an inlet of rügischen Bodden. The water is a little salty. The bay has a length of 1.8 kilometers and a width of 0.85 km. On the west bank, which is Neuensiener and Lake Sellin in the nature reserve, lies the district of Sellin Altensien. On the north side the highway 196 runs as tributaries of the bay are several ditches, including Mönchgraben.
