Semenre

Semenenre (also Semen -en- Re) is the throne name of an ancient Egyptian King ( Pharaoh ) of the 17th dynasty ( Second Intermediate Period ), who reigned about 1580 BC according to Franke.

He is named as the 8th king of the 17th dynasty in the Royal Canon of Turin ( 13.7). His name is also attested to an ax, which is now in the Petrie Museum in London.
