Senecio gallicus is a species of the genus Greis herbs ( Senecio ) in the sunflower family ( Asteraceae).
Features
Senecio gallicus a one-year stem - Therophyt, the plant height of 10 to 40 inches is reached. The leaves are elliptic to oblong, more or less thick and wide toothed to pinnatifid. The upper leaves are once or twice pinnately divided, their section are oblong - linear, close texture, usually perforated and projecting. There are 0-3 outer and inner bracts 13 to 21 exists.
The flowering period extends from March to May
Occurrence
Senecio gallicus occurs in the western Mediterranean.
