Senusret IV

Sesostris IV was a king (Pharaoh) of the 13th dynasty, whose chronology is unclear. Kim Ryholt ranks him recently in the 16th Dynasty.

Sesostris IV is attested by the king panel of Karnak, a colossal statue, one block from el- death, as well as a fragment of a stele from his first year of reign of Karnak. Uncertainty in the write-up are a lintel from Edfu and an ax blade, only the name of Sesostris appears on both objects. The attribution to these rulers is due to stylistic observations.
