Sequeira is a village in the north of Uruguay.

Geography

It is located in the southern part of the department of Artigas in its sixth sector near the border with Nachbardepartamento Salto. A few kilometers south-west is Pueblo Lavalleja. On the eastern outskirts of Arroyo Sequeira flows. To the west of Zajna de los leads Talas over.

Sequeira has with the Centro Educativo founded in 1992 Integrado - Sequeira on a secondary school ( Liceo ).

Traffic

Through the village leads the Ruta 4, which here has its kilometer point 125.

Population

Sequeira has 1,149 inhabitants, of whom 615 men and 534 women (as of 2011).
