Sergei Nikolaevich Juran ( born June 11, 1969 in Luhansk, Ukrainian SSR ) is a retired Russian football player and current coach. He he played after the collapse of the Soviet Union for the Russian national team, for which he took part in the '94 World Cup in the United States.

Life

Sergei Juran was born in 1969 in eastern Ukraine Lugansk. The striker began his active career in 1989 at Dynamo Kiev. In 1990, he was with his club Soviet champion and also won the Soviet Cup football. When the Soviet Union broke up in late 1991 final, Juran moved then to Benfica in Portugal. Further stations of his career were the FC Porto, Spartak Moscow, FC Millwall, Fortuna Dusseldorf, VfL Bochum, again Spartak Moscow and last SK Sturm Graz.

He joined the 1994/95 season with FC Porto, where he played one season also very moderate.
