Sergej Jakirović

Sergei Jakirović ( born December 23, 1976 in Mostar ) is a Bosnian - Herzegovinian soccer player on the position of midfielder.

Career

Jakirović began his career at NK Neretva Metković in Croatia, RNK Split over he came in 1998 to Slovakia Spartak Trnava. After only a half- season he went back to Croatia and played three seasons in Istra Pula. After a further two seasons at NK Korotan was active before his move to Austria nor in Kamen Ingrad Velika and NK Zagreb. Internationally, he played six times during this period for the Bosnian - Herzegovinian national football team.

In 2007 he moved to ASKOE Traun, from where he was awarded after renaming to SK Austria Kärnten of the Neo - Klagenfurtern to NK Rijeka. Beginning of the season 2008/ 09 he returned to Austria and now plays for SK Austria Kärnten. His debut in Austria was Jakirovic on March 10, 2007 compared Wacker Innsbruck. He was replaced at half-time against Haris Bukva.

In January 2009 he moved on loan to the regional center ( third highest Austrian league ) for SV Spittal / Drau, where he returned to Austria Kärnten after only seven games and there is now active in the second team.
