Serghei Stroenco

Serghei Stroenco ( born February 22, 1967; † December 24, 2013 ) was a Moldovan football player and coach.

Career

Stroenco debuted on 20 May 1992 in a friendly match against Moldova selecting Lithuania. He denied Between 1992 and 2007 a ​​total of 46 matches. The defender was thus one of the most successful national team of his country. Most of the time he played for the Moldovan club Tiligul Tiraspol, with whom he 1993, 1994 and 1995 won the Moldovan Cup. End of 2009, he ended his career and became from 2010 team manager of FC Academia UTM Chişinău. 11 May 2012 Stroenco was fired with two games left in the season as manager of Zimbru Chisinau.
