Sergio Amaury Ponce
Sergio Amaury Ponce ( born August 13, 1981 in Tepic, Nayarit ) is a Mexican footballer who acts in midfield.
Life
Association
Ponce began his professional career in the 2000/ 01 season at Atletico Mexiquense, one of his time playing in the second division branch team of Deportivo Toluca FC, for whom he be in the following season 2001/ 02 on August 11, 2001 compared Monterrey (1:1) debut in the top division denied.
His first goal was allowed Ponce cheer on 25 November 2001 in an away game against the Pumas, which brought about the final score of 1:1. Ponce, which was only a substitute in the 69th minute, turned out to be a real wild card in this game, which successfully completed in the 74th minute.
Ponce remained until the end of 2008 in Toluca and won with his team's three league titles and once the CONCACAF Champions ' Cup. His last game for Toluca, he played in the final of the Mexican Apertura football championship of 2008 against Cruz Azul.
An interesting side note deserves the fact that Ponce did not even see the red card in the seven and a half years where he was in Toluca under contract, which was to change later. During his one-year guest performance at Chivas Guadalajara he was expelled ( 0-0 against Puebla 2 May 2009 as well as in the 1-3 defeat against his club UANL Tigres next 1 August 2009 ) is equal to twice the field. His third dismissal he suffered on October 16, 2010 at the jersey of San Luis FC against his later club Querétaro (3:2).
National
In the second quarter of 2008, Ponce played two test stakes for the Mexican national team: April 16 against China ( 1-0) and on 4 June against Argentina (1:4).
He also belonged to the Olympic squad in 2004 the Mexican soccer team.
