Sergio González Soriano

Sergio González Soriano, better known as Sergio, ( born November 10, 1976 in L' Hospitalet de Llobregat ) is a Spanish football player.

Career

Clubs

Sergio started his professional career in 1994 at l' Hospitalet CE in the Segunda División B. After a convincing season he was obliged Espanyol, but initially only used in the second team, which played in the same league. In 1997, he made ​​the jump to the Primera División playing first team. In 2000 he won with the team in the Copa del Rey. A year later he left the club in the direction of Deportivo La Coruna, where he plays since then. In 2002, he was able to celebrate winning the Copa del Rey for a second time.

National

Sergio is a former Spanish national team. He made his debut on March 24, 2001 compared Liechtenstein. Due to the competition in midfield he was only eleven missions, yet he participated in the 2002 World Cup. Sergio now plays in the Catalan selection.
