Servo (layout engine)

Servo is an experimental layout engine for web browsers, which is jointly developed by Mozilla and Samsung. The prototype aims to create a highly parallel environment, which are in many components (such as rendering, layout, HTML parsing, image decoding ) are processed by finely divided, isolated tasks. The project has a symbiotic relationship with Rust, the programming language in which it was developed.

There are currently no plans in existing servo Mozilla products such as Firefox to integrate.
