Sętal
Setal ( German cuties Thal ) is a village in Poland and is part of the rural community Dywity, in powiat Olsztyński in the Warmia - Mazury and is located north of Olsztyn.
Geographical location
Setal 167 m above sea level and covers an area of 3901.7 hectares.
History
Population Development
In 1933 setal had 580 inhabitants, in 1939 only 525 inhabitants were counted in 2005, the city had 780 inhabitants.
Church
A first church was consecrated by Bishop Cuties Thal Martin Kromer in 1583. A fire in 1908 destroyed it completely. At the same place a neo-Gothic building, which was consecrated by Bishop Augustinus Bludau on July 11, 1911,. Patron saint is Saint Nicholas ( Święty Mikołaj ).
