Setarchidae
Setarches guentheri
The Setarchidae are a family of small to medium-sized marine fishes of the order Perciformes ( Perciformes ). They live in the Atlantic and Indo-Pacific at depths of 150 to 2000 meters and are 13 to 25 inches long.
- Fins formula: Dorsal XI-XIII/5-11, Anal III/4-7.
Species
There are three genera with two species:
- Ectreposebastes Garman, 1899. Ectreposebastes imus Garman, 1899.
- Ectreposebastes niger ( Fourmanoir, 1971).
- Lioscorpius longiceps Günther, 1880.
- Lioscorpius trifasciatus load, Yearsley & Motomura, 2005.
- Setarches armata ( Fowler, 1938).
- Setarches guentheri Johnson, 1862.
- Setarches longimanus ( Alcock, 1894).
