Seth Godin

Seth Godin (born 10 July 1960 New York, New York, USA) is an American author and entrepreneur.

Life and work

Godin graduated from Tufts University ( completion 1979) and the Stanford Graduate School of Business (MBA, 1984).

After graduation he was employed by the software company Spinnaker Software, where he was involved as a product manager with the game developer Byron Preiss in the development of adventure computer games Spinnakers subsidiary Telarium and Windham Classics. In 1986, a Godin Book Packaging - company. Other companies followed, including in the areas of online marketing and online community.

As an author Godin wrote nonfiction internet and marketing issues that have been translated into several languages. His book Free Prize Inside 2004 was on the list of 10 Business Books of the Year by the business magazine Forbes Magazine.
