Seven Kingdoms (Band)

Seven Kingdoms is an American thrash and power metal band from Deland, Florida, founded in 2007.

History

The band was formed in 2007 by guitarist Camden Cruz and Bryan Edwards singer. Guitarist Kevin Byrd, drummer Keith Byrd, bassist and keyboardist John Cory Stene Zambrotto arrived a short time later added. The band went in August in the Morrisound studio and recorded their debut album Brothers of the Night. The publication was followed by several appearances in the United States with bands like Sonata Arctica, The Agonist, Stephen Pearcey, Circle II Circle and The Absence. In 2008, the band wrote new songs. In addition Zambrotto left the band, so that the group from now on was without a keyboard player. Shortly after, singer and bassist Edwards Stene left the band. As a replacement came bassist Miles Neff and singer Sabrina Valentine to fill.

In September 2009, the band went into the Morrisound studio to record their second album with the band name as the title. The album was released in summer 2010 with Nightmare Records. Towards the end of 2010, the band went with Blind Guardian on a month-long tour of North America with Aaron Sluss was now as the new bass player in the band at Seven Kingdoms. After the tour, work began on their third album. On October 9, 2012 the new album The Fire is Mine appeared.

In March and April 2013, it go with Stratovarius and Amaranthe on a European tour.

Style

The band plays a mix of thrash and power metal, with the songs with the early works of Blind Guardian are comparable. The lyrics to Brothers of the Night address the fantasy saga A Song of Ice and Fire author George RR Martin. From this work, the name of the band headed off.
