Severin Schwan

Severin Schwan ( born November 17, 1967 in Hall in Tyrol ) is an Austrian manager.

Severin Schwan was appointed at the Roche Annual General Meeting on March 4, 2008 as CEO of Swiss pharmaceutical company Hoffmann -La Roche. He replaced Franz B. Humer. Before swan was CEO of the Roche Diagnostics Division.

Swan studied economics at the Universities of Innsbruck, York and Oxford, as well as Law also from the University of Innsbruck. He completed both subjects in 1991 with a Master exam and earned the title Mag. and Mag. soc. oec.
