Seyed Abbas Hosseini Ghammaghami

Ayatollah Abbas Hosseini Ghaemmaghami (born 1965 ) is an Islamic theologian and jurist and philosopher and social scientist.

He was born the son of the Seyyed Mehdi, a descendant of the famous political family of Ghaem Magham Farahani from Tehran, a former prime minister under Shah Mohammed. This in turn derives its pedigree over 34 generations of Imam Zain -ul- Abedin.

Education and Professional Career

Ghaemmaghami has simultaneously studied in addition to the official school religious education at the Theological College in Tehran. At the universities of Tehran and Qom, he was trained in Islamic law, philosophy and mysticism and gained the ability to perform independent legal discovery as a mujtahid.
