Seymour Ginsburg

Seymour Ginsburg ( born December 12, 1927 in Brooklyn; † 5 December 2004) was an American computer scientist. He was a pioneer of automata theory, formal languages ​​and database theory in particular and computer science in general. His works have helped to delineate the theoretical computer science from the disciplines of mathematics and electrical engineering.

Throughout his career, Ginsburg has published over 100 scientific papers and three books on various topics in computer science.
