The Seymour Johnson Air Force Base ( AFB and Seymour Johnson ) is a military airfield in the United States Air Force near the city of Goldsboro in Wayne County in the state of North Carolina in the southeastern United States. Established in 1942 became the base as a training center. Today, parts of the Air Combat Command (ACC) and a unit of the Air Force Reserve Command under the command of Air Mobility Command (AMC ) are stationed there.

It was named Airport to Seymour Johnson, a test pilot in the U.S. Navy who was killed in a crash. He was never a member of the Air Force.
