Shadows in the Sun

Shadows in the Sun ( Alternative title: Love prefer Italian, DVD Title: Under the sky of Tuscany, Original Title: Vengo a prenderti ) is an Italian- British-French comedy film directed by Brad Mirman from the year 2005.

Action

The young Jeremy Taylor works as an editor for a London publishing house and writing a novel. His employer sends him to an aging writer Weldon Parish, who lives in Tuscany. The author used to be very successful, however, has been published since his wife's death two decades ago, nothing more. Taylor to get him back to write a new novel.

Parish blocks all attempts to persuade and tried to persuade Taylor to leave. So go he and his drinking companions, for example one evening with drunken Taylor to a pond and pretend to want to sink him there, Taylor should not promise to leave the next day. The sobered Taylor is the promise, but is still thrown into the water. The pond, however, proves to be quite shallow, hazardous pond.

Parish's daughter Isabella and the pastor told Taylor that Parish would like to write in his heart, but was confused since the accidental death of his wife, and fear of failure have.

When Taylor and Parish retrieve at night a cow that the novelist had taken as collateral that Parish pays damages for the willful damage of his car, they will be arrested again.

Parish and Taylor talk shop about writing, but their discussions often end up in the personality analysis of each other, but this is food for thought for both. Parallel to this, Taylor fell in love with Isabella, which is also her father is not hidden.
