Shalrie Joseph

Shalrie Joseph ( born May 24, 1978 in St. George's ) is a Grenadian football player.

As a teenager, he moved with his family to the United States. There he grew up in Brooklyn, New York. In 1999 he completed his studies at Bryant & Stratton College. He then studied at St. John's University, where he played in the University of team.

Joseph was selected Revolution in 2002 Draft Major League Soccer New England. However, he first sought in vain for a club outside the United States. Therefore, he decided to play for New York Freedom before he finally in 2003 the squad from New England joined the revolution.

There he managed the rapid breakthrough and is considered one of the most talented defensive midfielder in the league. In the 2005 season he was team captain and was voted into the best team at the end of the season. Later he became vice - captain of the team.

In the 2012 season, Joseph moved to CD Chivas USA.

2013 Joseph signed a contract with the Seattle Sounders FC.

National

Since 2002, Joseph also runs on Grenada. For the Spice Boyz he participated in the Caribbean Cup and qualifying part to the World Cup 2006.
