Sharad Pawar

Sharad Pawar ( born December 12, 1940 in Pune, Maharashtra ) is an Indian politician.

Life

Pawar is the current Indian Minister of Agriculture of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and distribution of public goods. Since 1999, Pawar is the chairman of the newly formed party Nationalist Congress Party, which split from the Indian National Congress party.
