Sharon Webb

Sharon Lynn Webb ( * February 29, 1936 in Tampa, Florida, † April 30, 2010 in Blairsville, Georgia) was an American science fiction writer. The writing, she devoted herself quite late, after they had raised three children and worked for 10 years as a nurse. At first she used the pseudonym Ron Webb.

Her most famous works are the Immortals of the trilogy, in which she describes the conflict between immortality and creativity. Mankind has developed in this trilogy a medical treatment that gives immortality. However, this is also lost any creativity, which leads to cultural and technological standstill. However, some get their creativity, by avoiding the appropriate treatment:
