Shaun O'Brien

Shaun William O'Brien ( born May 31, 1969) is an Australian former racing cyclist.

1990 Shaun O'Brien won at the Commonwealth Games in Auckland two silver medals in the scratch race over ten miles on the car and the team pursuit ( with Brett Aitken, Stephen McGlede and Darren winter). In the UCI Track World Championships 1991 in Stuttgart, he won the bronze medal in the team pursuit, together with Aitken, McGlede and Stuart O'Grady. In the same composition, the Australian team won the silver medal at the Olympic Games in Barcelona. 1993 occupied O'Brien, who drove like gold medalist Brett Lancaster for the Shepparton Cycling Club in the Australian Championship in a two - team driving with David McKenzie third place.
