Shauna Macdonald
Shauna Macdonald ( born February 21, 1981 in Malaysia) is a British actress.
Life and filmography
Macdonald was born in Malaysia, where her father was temporarily working as an English teacher. The family returned a short time later to Edinburgh back to where Macdonald was growing up. Macdonald made his debut in a major role opposite Billy Connolly in the action thriller The Debt Collector ( 1999). Larger roles she played in the comedy Late Night Shopping (2001) with Heike Makatsch and film drama The Rocket Post ( 2004).
In the British horror film The Descent - abyss of horror (2005) Macdonald took over one of the main roles. For this role she was nominated in 2007 for the Saturn Award. In the thriller Jetsam (2007) she played again one of the major roles.
Macdonald is married to Scottish actor Cal Macaninch and has three daughters. She and her husband are marathon runners.
