Shawn Ashmore

Shawn Robert Ashmore ( born October 7, 1979 in Richmond, British Columbia) is a Canadian film actor and film producer.

Life

His education was at the Ashmore Turner Fenton High School in Brampton. His film debut was in 1989 in an episode of the television series Katts and Dog. Since then, he is in many feature films and television series before the movie camera.

His most famous film appearance is one of the mutant Iceman in Bryan Singer's X -Men 2 on the side of Patrick Stewart and Halle Berry, for which he was awarded the MTV Movie Award.

In My Brother's Keeper, a Canadian drama film from 2004, you could see both Shawn and his twin brother Aaron Ashmore together in front of the camera. It was already the second time, after the TV series Animorphs (1998).

His debut as an executive producer gave Ashmore 2005, when he not only Terry produced, but in this movie also played the lead role. In Terry the life story of amputee marathon runner Terry Fox was retold. In 2012 he got the role of an FBI agent in the yet untitled Kevin Williamson television movie.
