Shechen Gyaltsab

Shechen Gyeltshab (Tibetan: zhe chen rgyal tshab ) is the title of a major Trülku line of Shechen tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. In addition to the Shechen Rabjam and the Shechen Kongtrul the Shechen Gyeltshab is one of the most important Trülkus this tradition. The best known of the Shechen Gyeltshabs was 4 Shechen Gyeltshab Pema Namgyal (Tibetan: zhe chen rgyal rnam rgyal ma tshab pad; 1871-1926 ) supported by Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo as the reincarnation of the 3rd Shechen Gyeltshab Ugyen Rangjung Dorje (Tib.: o rdo rje rgyan rang byung ) was recognized. Pema Namgyel was after the death of his famous teacher Ju Mipham Namgyal Gyatsho ( Tib: ' ju mi pham rnam rgyal rgya mtsho, 1846-1912 ) regarded as its spiritual heritage and was the root teacher Dilgo Khyentse. His literary work includes 13 volumes.
