Sherry Ayitey

Sherry Ayittey ( born 1948 ) is a politician from Ghana and since the presidential election in Ghana 2008 Minister for Environment, Science and Technology in the Cabinet of John Atta Mills (currently December 2010).

She studied biochemistry and microbiology. Prior to her political activities Ayittey worked in the management of the largest distillery of Ghana.

Ayittey is a founding member of the National Democratic Congress.
