The pumped storage power station Shin- Takasegawa (Japanese新 高 瀬 川 発 电 所, Shin Takase -gawa hatsudensho, dt " new Takase -gawa power station" ) is a pumped storage power plant on the river Takase in northwestern Nagano Prefecture in central Japan. The power plant is located in the Chubu- Sangaku National Park west of the city of Omachi and has an installed capacity of 1280 MW, generated by five turbines. The hydraulic height is 229 meters. The construction period lasted from 1980 to 1998.

The Takase Dam on the upper basin is a rockfill dam with a height of 176 m, which impounds a reservoir of 76.2 million cubic meters. The lower basin is 32.5 million cubic meters in size and is a bit further below formed on the same river from a 125 meter high rockfill dam. Operator of the system is the Tōkyō Denryoku ( TEPCO ).

The Takase Dam is the highest dam of riprap in Japan and the second highest dam on the Kurobe Dam, which has an arch dam as a shut-off.
