Shinjirō Koizumi

Shinjiro Koizumi (Japanese小泉 进 次郎, Shinjiro Koizumi, born April 14, 1981 in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture) is a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party ( LDP) and member of the Shūgiin, of the House for the 11th constituency of Kanagawa.

Koizumi is a son of the politician Jun'ichirô Koizumi. After the visit of the connected elementary, middle and high schools in the Kanto Gakuin University Koizumi graduated from his studies at the Faculty of Economics, followed by graduate studies at Columbia University. From 2006 he conducted research at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. In 2007 he was secretary to his father.

After his retirement from politics he was a candidate at the 2009 Shūgiin choice to succeed him as MP, 11 constituency Kanagawa he won clearly against the Democrats Katsuhito Yokokume. In September 2013 he was the Cabinet Shinzō Abe II Parliamentary Secretary ( daijin seimukan ) in the Cabinet Office and for reconstruction.

Family

Koizumi takes as his direct ancestors Matajirō ( Communications Minister ), Jun'ya (Head of Defence Office ) and Jun'ichirô (Prime Minister) the constituency Kanagawas in which his hometown Yokosuka is located. His older brother Kotaro is an actor.
