Shiskine

Shiskine (Gaelic: Seasgann ) is a small village on the Scottish island of Arran in the Unitary Authority North Ayrshire.

It runs along a road near the southeast coast of the island off the A841, the main road of Arran. Brodick, the main town of the island is about twelve miles away. North and east of the creek runs Clauchan Water, which rises on the slopes of Beinn Bhreac. In 1889 was built in Shiskine the St. Molios Church. Designed by John James Burnet building is now classified as a monument of the highest category A Scottish monument.
