Shōnen Ace

Shōnen Ace (Japanese少年 エース, Shōnen Esu ) is a Japanese manga magazine.

The magazine is published monthly in the Kadokawa Shoten Publishing at a price of 500 yen. The main part of the magazine make various chapters of this manga series and manga short stories.

The magazine was founded in 1994 and was initially able to have only moderate success. As the publication of the manga to the popular anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion same name began in mid -1990 in Shōnen Ace, sales rose sharply. Due to the success of Neon Genesis Evangelion was followed by other manga series based on anime.

2005, Shōnen Ace was one of the few manga magazines, which could have a higher circulation figure than the previous year. The derzeite circulation per issue is 60000-70000.
