Shota Rustaveli State Prize

The Shota Rustaveli State Prize - Georgia is the highest price in the fields of literature, art and architecture.

Named after the Georgian national poet Shota Rustaveli Prize was founded in 1965. It is awarded every three years in the fields of literature, music, visual arts, architecture, theater and film.

The award is endowed with 15,000 lari ( about 7500 € ). The winners will be determined by the Presidential Committee for State Prizes of literature, art and architecture. The final decision is made by a jury.
