Shuakhevi

Schuachewi (Georgian შუახევი ) is a city ( since 1974) in Georgia, in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara. It is the administrative center of the municipality of the same name. It is located 67 km east of Batumi, at the confluence of the rivers Adschariszqali and Tschiruchiszqali. 2002, Schuachewi 980 inhabitants. In the city the ruins of the medieval fortress are preserved.
