Shun Akiyama

Shun Akiyama (Japanese秋山 骏, Shun Akiyama, * 1930 in the prefecture of Tokyo, † October 2, 2013 in Tokyo ) was a Japanese literary critic and author.

Akiyama studied French literature at Waseda University. He taught literature at the University of Agriculture and Technology Tokyo and at the Musashino Art College. In 1967 he published the book Naibu no ningen (the inner man ). His critical study of Oda Nobunaga became a bestseller and earned him the Yomiuri Prize for Literature. He looked even with the Selection Committee for various literary awards.
