Shut Up (LaFee album)

Shut Up (English for lit.: " Shut your mouth ") is the first English-language album from German pop-rock singer LaFee. It was included in the Tortuga Studios in Ibiza and released on 27 June 2008 in Germany. According to LaFee it's an album for their foreign fans, so that they can understand their texts and thus the meaning and background of their songs.

This first English-language album of LaFee reached - unlike the previous two German albums, each of which reached the top spot in the album charts in Germany and Austria - only the 21th place in Germany and the 31st place in Austria.

The song " Shut Up " ( the English version of " go cry " ) was released shortly before the album's release as a single.

The genre of this album may be defined as pop-rock, where as in the first album lightweight approaches to heavy metal are again visible. This album is from the style loud Pooltrax comparable with an album of Evanescence, Vanilla Ninja and Wilson Gonzalez Ochsenknecht.
