Siavash Kasraie

Siavash Siavash Kasraie also Kasrai, (Persian سياوش كسرايي; born February 25, 1927 in Isfahan, † February 8, 1996 in Vienna) was an Iranian poet.

Kasraie studied at the University of Tehran and graduated in law. His first collection of poems he published in 1957 and a second collection with the name Arash the Archer in 1959. This second collection made ​​him famous overnight. Kasraie was buried at Vienna's Central Cemetery.
