Siazan District

Siyəzən is a rayon in Azerbaijan. The capital of the district is the city Siyəzən.

Geography

The district has an area of 759 km ². The rayon is bounded on the north-east of the Caspian Sea, in the south west of the Great Caucasus. There are deposits of oil and gas .. The district is the Altyaghach National Park.

Population

In Rayon lived 2009 37.600 people. These are spread over 33 settlements. A part of the population belongs to a minority indeed.

Economy
