Sid Brod

Sidney " Sid " Sanford Brod ( born December 13, 1899 in New York; † February 10, 1955 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American assistant director, screenwriter, production manager and film producer who at the Academy Awards in 1934 for an Oscar for the best assistant director was nominated.

Biography

Brod was as an assistant director, screenwriter, production manager or producer only in a few film productions such as Time to Love (1927 ), This Is the Life (1935 ), Straight from the Shoulder ( 1936), Knickerbocker Holiday ( 1944) and The Bing Crosby Show ( 1954) operates.

At the Academy Awards in 1934, he belonged to the circle of nominees for the Oscar for best assistant director.
