Sidnei dos Santos Júnior called Sidao ( born July 9, 1982 in São Caetano do Sul ) is a Brazilian volleyball player.

Career

Dos Santos began his career in 2001 at EC Banespa. In the following years he played for AD Santo André and Sports Club Ulbra, before moving to Florianópolis Cimed 2005. 2006 won the middle blocker with the Brazilian national team's World League. He was then obliged by the Italian first division Pallavolo Modena. 2007 succeeded in defending his title in the World League. With Modena dos Santos won the Challenge Cup 2008. 2009 he returned to the home and moved to his present club SESI São Paulo. In the same year he won with Brazil again the World League and was also South American champions. As World League champion national team came also at the 2010 World Cup finals and defeated there in Cuba. In 2011 he was Brazilian champion with Sao Paulo. At the Olympic Games in London in 2012 he won the silver medal with Brazil.
