Sidewalk Prophets
The Sidewalk Prophets are an American alternative rock band from the area of Christian pop music.
Band History
The Sidewalk Prophets Founded in 2003, Anderson, Indiana by the two college students Dave Frey and Ben McDonald. Overall, the band consists of five musicians. In the first year they produced their own independent album titled Sidewalk Prophets. They released one more EP on their own, entitled You Love Me Anyway before she finally found a label in Word Records. They played in the interlude of Audio Adrenaline and Jeremy Camp and published in 2009 her first label album. With These Simple Truths they came in fifth place of U.S. Heatseeker charts and had with The Words I Would Say a number - three hit in the Christian Songs chart. This earned them the following year at the GMA Dove Awards Newcomer Award a.
As a result, they had repeatedly successes in the Christian Songs chart, You Love Me Anyway 2011 was a number -one hit in these specific charts. The second album Live Like That was completed a year later. The title song reached number two in the Christian songs and the album entered the album charts at number three appropriate. In addition it could be placed in the official album charts at number 83. 2013 brought the Sidewalk Prophets a Christmas album out. Merry Christmas to You came again into the charts and the song Help Me Find It came in at number three of the Christmas charts.
