Siegfried Rasswalder

Siegfried Rasswalder (born 13 May 1987) is an Austrian football player. Currently he is involved in SV Horn.

Life and career

Rasswalder began his career at SV Lobmingtal from Großlobming in Styria. After good performances in the youth team he came to the youth of DSV Leoben. There he came in 2005 to the first team and remained there until 2008 in the second division. During this time he was called up for the youth national team of Austria to the Junior World Championships 2007 in Canada. Rasswalder played in five games and got two yellow cards. He was surprisingly fourth with the team.

In 2008 he signed a contract with the first division LASK Linz. Making its debut in the highest Austrian league, he scored the game of the first round on 9 July 2008 against Kapfenberg SV equal to the winning goal to make it 1-0. He is the current U-21 national team

On 12 May 2010 the LASK Linz announced not to renew the contract of the Styrian for the upcoming season. He then moved to the Regionalliga for SV Horn.
